Journal Overview
Publisher: The ‘Haematology Journal of Bangladesh’ is a peer reviewed medical journal published by Haematology Society of Bangladesh as its official organ.
Aims: The journal possesses the intention to encourage research in the field of haematology in Bangladesh and to update and to optimise the knowledge and skill of the physicians, post-graduate students, medical technologists, nurses, and the related workers for the management of the patients of haematology, and to contribute to further improvement of medical education. This journal is to serve as a medium for expression, sharing and exchange of views among the haematologists, physicians and surgeons of different disciplines and heath service providers. It is to act as a vehicle for the conveyance of up-to-the-minute information, comment, constructive criticism, and sound opinion. Besides, researchers will acquire new information and data from the journal. Our vision is to increase standard, utility, and popularity of the journal through dissemination of knowledge, experience and challenges, and, thereby, added benefit for patient service.
Scope: It accepts original articles, review articles and case reports and short communications of scientific merits related to haematology. Anyone from any part of the glob can be a precious contributor as an author or a reviewer.
Publication Frequency: It is published two times a year, January and July.
Access: Haematology Journal of Bangladesh is an open access journal as defined by the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) as committed by its publisher as a signee of BOAI declaration. Please, go through the Access and Copyright page for details.
License: This journal follows an open-access policy as per the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0).
Copyright: Authors retain copyright of their works without any restriction. Submitting an article to this Journal means that the author(s) grant this journal a license to publish the article and identify it as the original publisher.
Archieving: When a new article has been published, an archival copy is stored automatically in electronic format in PKP PN. Authors are permitted to self-archive their articles on their personal website and/or in their funder's or institutional or in other open access repositories.
Editorial Policy: All submitted manuscripts will be peer reviewed as double blind. The article(s) must be original and must not be previously or simultaneously published or under consideration for publication in any other scientific journal, except in the form of an abstract or review. It is the sole responsibility of the author(s) for scientific fraudulent act and shall accept liability whatsoever for the consequences of any such act. Manuscript submission: Anyone from any part of the glob can submit article(s) or letter to editor. Manual submission of the manuscript is not available. Authors are requested preferably to submit the manuscript online after registering and/or log in. The authors’ details should be written in the specified fields. Required check box should be checked. Alternatively and less preferably, the manuscript can be sent by journal@hematologybd.org along with a seperate document that containing authors' details including their individual email address.
